We started with four cakes and four plates - our new colored cake plates, to be specific. Because a beautiful cake must have to be served most beautifully, right?

Or we can say any time of year since everyone just loves it at any time of the year.

The Waffle Cake
As the name suggests ... something light, airy, transparent ... like a summer breeze! The waffle cake is excellent for daytime weddings, wedding brunches, and any waffle lover! This cake works well for a backyard or rustic wedding. It's also great for the low-key bride and groom who love brunch. It is incredibly refreshing in the summer months because it is light and fluffy. You can combine it with any fruit you want and together with the cream it will be a real summer sweet.

- 6.5" Yellow Square Plastic Cake Plates
- 7.5 oz Mini Plastic Wine Carafes - for flowers
- 10.5" White Plastic Cake Stand
- 4" Table Square Vase - adds height to the cake stand. We added some lemons and raspberries underneath the vase to add color and to continue our theme
- 10 oz Stemless Champagne Flutes - mimosas are a must with waffle cake
- Plastic Concave Cups - for syrup
- Lemons - you can choose different waffle toppings, but we chose lemons to match our lemon cake plates
- Raspberries
- Flowers - add extra texture and color to your look
The Rice Crispy Cake
The Rice Crispy Cake has the look and shape of a traditional cake and appeals to the fun, light-hearted bride and groom. The Rice Crispy Cake is an inexpensive, simple alternative cake idea. There are only a few ingredients, and there is no oven required! We made our Rice Crispy Cake elegant and classic, but you can jazz it up by dipping the cake into colored chocolate and adding sprinkles to match your color scheme.
Using The Rice Crispy Cake, instead of a simple one, you can make one cheerful cake by placing several strips of different colors, which in combination with the same colors of the plate will make little real fireworks of colors on your table! Or you can just use a bowl of colored rice so each floor can be a different color! Fun, isn't it?

We used different-sized springform pans to get the desired cake-like shape we wanted.
